Frances is a bilingual medical scribe. She graduated from UTEP in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with a minor in Psychology. She has done various clinical research studies on immune responses in the bone marrow compartment after a brain viral infection, research on Cryptosporidium infections in pediatric hosts, stress survival pathway genes in colorectal cancer. She plans to apply to medical school in 2025. Her goal is to become a pediatric oncologist/hematologist. We are very fortunate to have her on our team assisting our clinicians with documentation and operating the EMR system.
